As a Creative Coach Lisa works with small businesses and sole traders to help expand their businesses and improve their profile in the market place

Since graduating from Loughborough College of Art and Design with a degree in woven textile design Lisa moved to London, to work buying office for Debenhams where she worked for four years. Beginning in Women’s Fashion Lisa moved to the Home Interiors division buying for the Contemporary Living department. Working in the highly reactive and fast-paced retail environment taught Lisa organisational skills, how to approach problems in a methodical way and an ability to prioritise a heavy workload

As an artist herself, Lisa has a great deal of empathy with creative people and particularly enjoys exploring the challenges and opportunities when working with small businesses. Lisa regularly exhibits her range of original drawings, prints and cards and is as an occasional lecturer/workshop leader in schools and universities. Lisa also regularly holds Social Media Workshops for beginners currently via https://www.bristolfolkhouse.co.uk/ and https://www.bristol.gov.uk/schools-learning-early-years/stoke-lodge-adult-learning-centre Lisa is happy to one-off workshops for small groups (maximum of 3 people) – see below for prices

Lisa has worked with a range of clients over the years including Illustrators, Graphic Designers, Photographers, Textile Designers, Sculptors, Painters and Personal Stylists. Lisa has been a volunteer Business Mentor with The Prince’s Trust since 2014

Lisa’s key skills include time management, prioritising workloads and marketing via social media. Lisa regularly draws on her retail experience to identify the customer via market research, recognising current trends and developing a brand.

An introduction session will run for approximately 1.5 hours and will cost £50

The coaching session involves an informal chat (usually in a city-centre café/location – away from your desk/studio) and afterwards Lisa will send you a one-page summary of the salient points covered including any useful links & contacts

There is an option for a one-hour follow-up in a month’s time to gauge how you are progressing and this will cost £25

Ad-hoc Social Media Workshops:

£25 for a maximum of 3 people held at your home/studio
